At the regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Joint-Stock Company Northern Caucasus Resorts the report on achievement of the company’s Performance Indicators for year 2015 was approved. There was also approved the report on performance of the JSC NCR’s Consolidated Budget for year 2015, and the balance of the company’s operating efficiency indicators for 2016.
At the interregional forum of All-Russia People’s Front which was held last weekend in Stavropol, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin praised the work carried out by JSC NCR, the Russian Ministry of the North Caucasus Affairs and Karachay-Cherkessia to establish ArkhyzATRC.
Despite the difficult economic situation, All-Season Tourist and Recreational Resort Arkhyz, being created by JSC Northern Caucasus Resorts will develop within the framework of the tourist cluster project. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russia Alexander Khloponin during his working visit to the territory of ArkhyzATRC last weekend.
On Sunday, December 27, in the vicinity of Mount Elbrus, Kabardino-Balkaria, there was held the opening ceremony of the third stage of the ropeway on Mount Elbrus from Mir station to Gara-Bashi station, which became the highest ropeway in Europe. The Minister of North Caucasus Affairs of the Russian Federation, Lev Kuznetsov, the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Dmitry Livanov, the head of the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic YuryKokov, Deputy Authorized Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the North Caucasus Federal District Valery Popkovand Director General of JSC NCR Oleg Gorchev took part in the ceremony.
On Saturday, December 26, the opening ceremony of the ski infrastructure facilities took place in the new tourist village LunnayaPolyana at Arkhyz ATRC, and ski season 2015/2016 was started. The facilities built by the company Northern Caucasus Resorts during the year 2015 were opened by Lev Kuznetsov, the Minister of North Caucasus Affairs of the Russian Federation, Rashid Temrezov, the head of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic and Oleg Gorchev, Director General of JSC NCR. At the opening ceremony participants launched the first solemn slopes on new resort tracks developed by JSC NCR within the framework of the tourist cluster project in the North Caucasian Federal District, Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygeya, and then estimated readiness of tracks to accept tourists and came down the slope.
Valentina Matvienko, the Chairman of the Federation Council, talked with guests of the all-season resort Arkhyz during the teleconference organized with the assistance of PJSCRostelecom within the framework of the Days of Karachay-Cherkessia in the upper House of the Russian Parliament.
