At the regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Joint-Stock Company Northern Caucasus Resorts the report on achievement of the company’s Performance Indicators for year 2015 was approved. There was also approved the report on performance of the JSC NCR’s Consolidated Budget for year 2015, and the balance of the company’s operating efficiency indicators for 2016.
As the Chairman of the JSC NCR Board of Directors, Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus Affairs, Andrei Reznikov noticed, in 2015 the company successfully continued to develop the All-Russian Tourist Complexes "Arkhyz" and "Elbrus", giving around 4.3 billion rubles as a total for the ski infrastructure construction and modernization. There has been built a new ropeway, ski runs with an Artificial Snow system alongside with a multifunctional center in the resort "Arkhyz" in the new tourist village of Lunnaya Poliana . There has been also built the third stage of the ropeway from the "Station Myr" to the "Station Gara-Bashi" at the All-Russian Tourist Complex "Elbrus", which has become the highest one in Europe. "In addition, it has significantly increased a flow of extra-budgetary investment in the project: in the reporting period, the JSC NCR has attracted ten new residents to the SEZ "Arkhyz", aimed at investing in the plane of the commercial infrastructure capital construction," he said.
"An important indicator of the company’s operating efficiency is the increase of the flow of tourists to the resorts of the North Caucasus; in terms of this value, the planned target of 2015, excluding the current winter Statistics, was exceeded by 11%. We expect that the flow of tourists will increase by 50% by the end of the winter season 2015/2016 compared to the season 2014/2015 and will amount to 350 thousand tourists," said the Head of the JSC NCR Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors of Northern Caucasus Resorts JSC is responsible for the general management of the company. Its responsibilities include defining the priority directions of the JSC NCR activities and implementing the company's policy to ensure the achievement of its goals and objectives in the framework of the tourism cluster project in the North Caucasus Federal District, Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea.
