Odes Baysultanov, the First Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for North Caucasus Affairs, was elected chairman of the Board of Directors of Joint-Stock Company Northern Caucasus Resorts. A meeting of the Board of Directors of one of the development institutions of the North Caucasus Federal District, where the Director General of the company was also appointed, took place in Moscow on Monday, December 11, 2017.
Odes Baysultanov thanked the members of the Board of Directors for the vote of confidence and told that he was sure that, with all the competent federal executive bodies involved, building of effective project management system of the North-Caucasus Tourism Cluster would continue. ‘Now, our priorities are to hold at the highest level the winter season in Arkhyz and Elbrus resorts and to commission Veduchi ATRC, the first ski resort in the Chechen Republic. For the Ministry of the North Caucasus Affairs of the Russian Federation, we will render the necessary assistance to Joint-Stock Company Northern Caucasus Resorts in addressing these challenges, and we look forward to similar support from the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Rostourism (the Federal Agency for Tourism), Rosimushchestvo (the Federal Agency for State Property Management) and other public and commercial structures represented in the Board of Directors of the company’, he emphasized.
Let us recall that in accordance with the Charter of Joint-Stock Company Northern Caucasus Resorts, the Board of Directors performs general management of the company. Its responsibilities include defining the priority directions of JSC NCR activities and implementing the company's policy to ensure the achievement of its goals and objectives within the tourism cluster project in the North Caucasus Federal District. The new Board of Directors of JSC NCR was elected at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the Company, held on November 22, 2017.
Biography
Odes Khasaevich Baysultanov was born on January 17, 1965 in Belorechye village, Gudermessky district, Chechen-Ingush ASSR.
He graduated from the Chechen State University with a degree in Public and Municipal Administration.
Since October 1992, for 20 years, he has been working in the Government of the Chechen Republic. He held the positions of a chief specialist of mechanization and electrification section of the Ministry of Agriculture, leading and chief specialist of the Logistics Support Section of the Office of the President and the Government of the Chechen Republic, head of State Institution Management of the Building of the Government of the Chechen Republic’.
Since June 2004, he was the Property Manager of the President and the Government of the Chechen Republic, since June 2005 – Minister of the Chechen Republic, since March 2006 – First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Chechen Republic, since March 2007 – Acting Chairman of the Government of the Chechen Republic. In April 2007, he came into office of the Chairman of the Government of the Chechen Republic.
Since May 2012, he held the post of Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the North Caucasus Federal District.
In July 2014, he was appointed Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for North Caucasus Affairs, and in April 2016 – First Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for North Caucasus Affairs.
