July 15, the Minister of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus Affairs Lev Kuznetsov made a working visit to the all-season resort "Arkhyz" where he got acquainted with the site work in the summer season and discussed with the acting head of Karachay-Cherkessia Rashid Temrezov, the Deputy the Minister of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus Affairs Andrey Reznikov and the JSC "KSK" General Director Oleg Gorchev, the prospects for the resort development and for the operation of its sites in the winter of 2016/2017.

The Minkavkaz of Russia, the Government of Karachay-Cherkessia and the Northern Caucasus Resorts JSC are participating in the VTRK "Arkhyz" development process. This format of cooperation, according to Lev Kuznetsov, had time to prove itself. "It can be an example for other similar projects in terms of creating comfortable conditions for doing business to private investors," emphasized the Minister of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus Affairs.

During the working visit, Lev Kuznetsov visited the key VTRK "Arkhyz" facilities: tourist settlements Romantik and Lunnaya Poliana on the South oriented slope, and the north-oriented slope planned for development in the coming years.

In addition, Lev Kuznetsov, met with current and potential residents of the SEZ "Arkhyz" at the sites of construction and operation of their facilities. In particular, the Minister visited the sites of companies "Arkhyz-1650", "Vertikal", "Gornyi Kristall", "Techmontazh-Arkhyz", "Allure", "Tramplin1650", "APC Development", "Grand Arkhyz".

The commercial infrastructure facilities created by these investors represent hotels of various formats, restaurant, entertainment and SPA facilities, cafes and caravan sites, which will be commissioned in the next two ski seasons.

Recently, the first of the VTRK "Arkhyz" residents, the company "Tramplin1650" has been approved subsidies for interest payment on the realization of its project loan financing, said the Northern Caucasus Resorts JSC General Girector Oleg Gorchev. "This can be called a fundamental stage in the history of cooperation between the state and private business; it will become a model for other residents many of whom are actively building their facilities in line with or ahead of the announced plans," he stressed.

When inspecting the construction sites, the Acting Head of Karachay-Cherkessia Rashid Temrezov also drew attention to the fact that the quality of service in a rigid competitive environment must be at a high level.

"Of course, today it is necessary to pay attention to the ski infrastructure to be at the appropriate level, as well as the level of service. I think the fact that tourists are coming back here, suggests that we are moving in the right direction. Much remains to be done, but the "Arkhyz" is a being built resort, which, I am sure, has a great future".

On the same day, the Minister discussed with the JSC "KSK" management the tariff policy for the coming ski season.

According to Oleg Gorchev, the tariffs for the VTRK "Arkhyz" services in winter of 2016/2017 will be published in the coming weeks and will not undergo significant changes from the previous ski season, "so that tourists could right now cost-effectively plan their vacations. In addition, we urge residents who manage the resort placements to ensure together a maximum transparency of the VTRK "Arkhyz" tariff policy, stressed the JSC "KSK" head.

After completing the inspection of the VTRK "Arkhyz" facilities, Lev Kuznetsov suggested creating an "error atlas" so that new investors took into account the experience of the existing residents. "The atlas can be an effective tool to prevent the possible occurrence of various types of difficulties in the implementation of investment projects," said the Minister.
